State J-Day at CSU-Fort Collins

We plan to return to the Lory Stu­dent Cen­ter on Oct. 11, 2012, but that date is only ten­ta­tive as of Feb. 1. Once we have our reser­va­tion final­ized in March, we will get more details out on this always excit­ing event.

You may have heard that Lory will undergo a nearly $70 mil­lion ren­o­va­tion, and that work has begun, but it will not affect our 2012 J-Day. We are already research­ing alter­na­tive sites near CSU for 2013. Again, stay tuned for details as they are available.

Our 2011 state jour­nal­ism con­fer­ence was Thurs­day, Oct. 13, in the Lory Stu­dent Union, in the heart of the Col­orado State Uni­ver­sity cam­pus. See the pro­gram by click­ing on pages 1–4, and on pages 5–8. The for­mat was 11x17 this year.

We urge you to start plan­ning now, and to fill out and send in your reg­is­tra­tion, using our inter­ac­tive PDF. The 2011 con­fer­ence will fea­ture our first Gen­eral Mem­ber­ship Meet­ing and Lun­cheon.
